    Photo Scanning Transfers

    Sydney DVD Makers have transferred 1000's of clients photos to high resolution image files over the last 22 years, and in that time we have being refining our process to produce the best slide scan service available in Australia

    Photos are scanned at 600 DPI high resolution so printing to paper at a later stage is not a problem. We also supply a lower resolution file to make them easier to view on a computer or email to other family members. A TV playable DVD slideshow is also a further option for your viewing pleasure

    What our photo scans DO include tick

    • cleaning of dust and grime from all slides prior to the scan
    • 600 dpi resolution with images saved to JPEG or TIFF
    • manual cropping for clean edges and rotation if necessary
    • supply of lower resolution file for easy computer previewing and emailing
    • we only use Taiyo Yuden DVD discs for the slideshows (masters, not OEM's), the worlds best archival grade disc and the only disc still made in Japan
    • free transfer of the JPEG or TIFF high and low resolution images to your hard-drive)

    What our photos scans DON’T include cross

    • using cheap light boxes for the scanning process
    • Ritek or any other no brand name DVD disc's to archive your precious memories
